Was born in the Maysho region in east Tibet to a devoted Buddhist family.

Was recognized by Shamar Yeshe Nyingpo and Gyaltsap Norbu; Sangpo as the next Karmapa in accordance with the instruction letter of the tenth Karmapa.

Received teachings and mahamudra lineage transmissions from Shamarpa.

Received the terma teachings from Yong-Ge Mingur Dorje and Taksham Nuden Dorje.

Yeshe Dorje was a great visionary who performed many miracles.

Located and identified the eight Shamarpa who became his close studentand next lineage holder.

Passed into prinirvana at the age of twenty seven after leaving a detail prediction letter with Shamar Palchen Chokyi Dondrub concerning his next incarnation.
