Aparmita is the name given to Amitabha in his character of bestower of longevity. Aparmita may be turned either a “Crowned Buddha or a Bodhisattva and is therefore richly clad and wears the thirteen ornaments.
Virupa was a ninth century follower of the teachings of the Dakini Vajravarahi. Virupa resided in the eastern Indian monastery of Somapuri for twenty – four years before being ejected for eating the monastery’s pigeons.
Kubera is the lord of wealth and guardian of the Northern Direction. According the Hindu mythology, he is said to have performed austerities for a thousand years.
